I think today's Daily Deviations are horrible. That's really all that is on my mind.

So, there is not a whole lot to say. I've had some photographs building up in my camera for a while now--emptied all that out. I guess it will be a while before I upload more. I want a new camera. Nikon D5000. It makes me drool. I can't afford one right now, or for a while. All I do is work nowadays and squeeze the beach in as much as possible. Any art projects? Nope! Too busy. Too lazy. Unmotivated. Uninterested. I've been stuck in a rut for a while now. It's heartbreaking. Photography is easy. Well. It's hard. I'm not that great and don't take the time to learn how to improve my skills. But it's easier than say .. An 18x24 self portrait.

So, I decided I wanted to do a traditional drawing again, so, I'm working on a self-portrait of http://siik-doii.deviantart.com/art/Peacefulness-156279099 It's turning out really well so far and when I get further along I'm going to post a WIP. It's a mixed media, I suppose, since I painted the background solid black, but everything else is going to be in typical shading pencils. I can't wait to get it finished. It's being done on an 18x24 sheet of paper. I haven't done something like this in about two years. It's nice to be motivated to try something other than photography. I still haven't purchased any batteries for my pentax, but I will s
